24’s Award: Robert P. Giaimo Ice Hockey Scholarship
The Robert P. Giaimo Ice Hockey Scholarship is awarded based on a vote by the West Essex regional ice hockey team. It is presented to the player who has the most heart for the game of ice hockey, who has the most dedication and support to his fellow teammates and also maintains a good grade average. It is not necessarily given to the “best” skilled player.

Robert P. Giaimo Memorial Scholarships
The Robert P. Giaimo Memorial Scholarships are given out to students of West Essex Regional High School and students attending Ramapo College. Both scholarships are presented to students following the same career choice as Robert, technical theater. Since there is not much money available for students who are pursuing technical theater, these are awarded to third or fourth year students, who also maintain a good grade average. The students are recommended by the professors and must fill out applications.
